Haier HL24XD2 24-Inch 1080p D Series LCD HDTV.After extensive research to find a modestly-priced 26" LCD HDTV to replace my old 19" one, I settled on this one. There were several in the general price range, but what sold me was on this one was 1) 1080p and 2) the fact that it claimed to have technology which keeps the volume at the same level during programs and commercials. In spite of the recent federal law outlawing loud commercials, I haven't noticed any change yet, so I was eager to see if the Haier lived up to its promises. So far, I have been pleased. I have not noticed decibel changes between networks or between programs and ads. I don't think it's perfect, but it is a BIG improvement. The picture and color are great and it was easy to set up. And I had amazing delivery service - it arrived within 36 hours, having come across the continent, and the shipping was free!
