Sharp LC60LE835U 60-Inch 1080p 3D LED LCD TV.Just bought this exact model at Brandsmart USA in South Florida. Watched 3 Blu ray movies over the weekend. Unbelievable clarity. Black levels are great. Wi-Fi works super fast. Netflix loads and plays flawlessly. So far no complaints at all. Will update soon. Newest model of 3-D shutter glasses are not yet available, so have not tried the quality yet. Very highly recommended.

Samsung PN51D7000 51-Inch 1080p 600Hz 3D Plasma TV.First I purchased the Samsung LED 2011 (UN46D6400UF) since it had very good review on Samsung web site. I did like the idea of LED but I didn't like the brightness of the pictures. It was too bright and picture is not natural at all. When I was stop at the Best Buy I had a chance to look at Samsung Plasma. That was a huge diffident. Next day I got my TV exchange to Plasma. What a diffident. Now I stated to watch more TV then I use to. I got a batter TV for batter Price with 3D. Love it.

Samsung LN37D550 37-Inch 1080p 60Hz LCD HDTV .Compromise on price but not on features. Samsung's affordable 550 LCD HDTV series delivers Full HD resolution, playback of files from USB drives or over your home network from DLNA Certified devices, a wealth of HDMI inputs, and plenty more, all wrapped up in Samsung's eye-catching "Touch of Color" design.I couldn't be happier with this tv. I bought the 37" for the bedroom having recently purchased a Sony Bravia for the living room. Reviews of other Samsung tvs had mentioned the low sound quality. I think the sound quality is superb and beats the heck out of the new Sony I own. The picture is top notch and the set-up couldn't have been be easier.

There is a noticable glare on the screen when daylight shines on the screen which is why I purchased the Sony for the living room whose matte screen better suited bright room.

All in all, I am very happy with this purchase.

Samsung UN46D8000 46-Inch 1080p 240Hz 3D LED HDTV (Silver).I have gone through many tvs in the recent months trying to find that perfect tv. I know no tv is perfect and all have their flaws. I have gone through the sony 46hx800/810 sonykdl46hx909 and liked the black levels but did not have the clarity of samsung televisions. I tried the samsung un46c8000 and was too distracted by the bezel and returned it. I liked the d7000 and purchased that tv at first. The clarity was good but the "ghosting and flashlighting was so noticeable i could not take it. I took ownership of this tv today and am by far the most happy with it. I finally had that ahhhhhhh moment when watching the dark knight today. It just looks like quality and the black levels are great. I have had no flashlighting problems. There have been minimal ghosting problems but all edge lit based tvs will have that. I finally have found a tv leaving me satisfied and not looking for the next tv. I would strongly recommend this tv to anyone i know and would recommend this to any amazon customer buying thinking about television purchase.

Picture will be dialed in during the week. As of now watching Fox News, on Cinema, with adjustments it looks just fine. I do not have a Blu Ray player yet. I would not be afraid of this TV. I personally prefer more picture adjustments. It however looks great with the existing adjustments at hand. Blacks are not Kuro, but are crisp.

LG 50PZ550 50-Inch 1080p Active 3D Plasma HDTV with Internet Applications.I just purchased this TV locally to replace my Sony KDL-46Z4100 LCD TV in the master bedroom. I felt the picture on my Sony was too dark...especially for playing video games on the PS3 and/or Xbox 360. I researched via google and read that a plasma TV is better for a darker environment. After hooking up the TV to the wall mount and turning it on, I was shocked at remarkable picture improvement between the plasma and my previous LCD. I feel this TV is WELL worth the money, considering it came with 2 free pair of AGS250 (current 2011 model) 3D glasses. A couple of notes: make sure you turn the contrast down to 60 or less, since the factory settings have it at 100. If you leave it at the default setting, you'll have a problem with burn-in. I have mine set at 60/65 (contrast/brightness). You'll notice burn-in either way if you watch a lot of sporting events as I do (IE - any programming that has a non-moving bar along the bottom...like the current score of a game), but it's easy to get rid off by either tuning in a channel with white noise or using the TV's built-in ISM (Image Sticking Minimization) "white wash" feature to eliminate it. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase....GREAT VALUE!

LG Infinia 55LW5600 55-Inch Cinema 3D 1080p 120 Hz LED HDTV with Smart TV.I have to say I was really impressed by this set when i first saw it being demoed. I love 3d but have never wanted to own a set because the active shutter 3d makes me dizzy and sick after about 10 minutes of watching it. The passive 3d offered by this system is great. No sickness, little to no eye strain and a great 3d image. People have complained that the way the 3d is created halves the resolution, this is not noticeable at all with 3d blu-ray. I did notice lining in the image when i was very close to the tv, closer than I would want to sit comfortably. One complaint I have, though it is a small one, is that 3d gaming is noticeably lower in resolution. I have only tried this with one game(killzone 3) and only with this 3d format so cant really compare weither the other 3d format(active shutter) offered would be better for gaming. Still an amazing gaming experience regardless.

LG 60PZ550 60-Inch 1080p Active 3D Plasma HDTV with Internet Applications. The glasses (this TV takes the new ones, I believe it is the 250) were easy to work with, lightweight and effective. They did lose sync a few times each movie.

I liked the many HDMI inputs and the USB ports. The TV has wireless capability, but you DO need to buy the dongle (and isn't that a weird word.)

We moved up from a Panasonic 50 inch plasma bought about 5 years ago which has a grey frame. The slim black frame on this TV was a DRAMATIC improvement.

We have the TV in a room with a LOT of light, and I was concerned because I heard that they are like a mirror, and there is definitely some reflection issues, but honestly, not much more than my old Panasonic. We were still able to watch a 3D movie in full light and not miss much of anything.

So, I have only had the set up for a couple of days, but I LOVE IT!!!

Panasonic VIERA TC-P50ST30 50-Inch 1080p 3D Plasma HDTV.I had this delivered from Best Buy this evening. For the first hour, the picture was flickering between dark and light but I think it was because I was the last stop for the driver and the plasma was in cold weather all day. Three hours later and I have watched a 3D blu-ray, HD channels from my Comcast box, and a standard DVD to review the up conversion.
The 2D picture quality is excellent - the black levels are solid - the brightness is very good for a plasma - and the colors are rich in saturation.
The 3D picture quality is amazing! We have the rechargeable glasses with the Avatar Kit and they are lightweight and work very well. The 3D was actually better than in the theater.
For a mid-level TV, this really sets the bar. I highly recommend this television.

Samsung UN46D6000 46-Inch 1080p 120Hz LED HDTV (Black).Purchased two weeks ago and all I can say is wow! The picture quality is super. It is almost too bright. I have adjusted the brightness and toned it down a bit. Colors are great also. Surprisingly, for a TV that is only 1.2 inches thick the sound quality is good. Might also be the positioning of mine, it is above the mantle so the speakers are projecting downward and bouncing off of it. Only thing I find a bit strange is the location of the input jacks. They are on the back right hand side of this set which is the opposite of how I had my wall plates set up. I have two setting suggestions. Turn off the Eco Sensor which adjusts the picture brightness to the ambient light in the room. For me it was dimming too much. For sports, leave the Auto Motion Plus on but for everything else turn it off. It gives a sort of 3D look to everything and is quite strange when watching movies. Other than that, you will be extremely happy with this set. Great purchase.

Panasonic VIERA TC-P50S30 50-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV.I've been using this set for a few days now, so I can't comment on "image retention" problems that previous generations had. Supposedly the phosphors used in this set are improved from previous year, and reportedly they last longer. Just be sure you turn on the "pixel orbiter" to avoid burning in the logos and avoid prolonged display of static images. You can also run "scrolling bar" once a day for 15 minutes for the first week to age the phosphors evenly. Not all plasma owners believe a break-in period is necessary for the later generations of plasma TVs, and no plasma manufacturers now suggest their sets require break-in.This TV may lack all the bells and features you can find in more advanced models, but it does deliver an excellent picture at a very reasonable price and that what matters most.

Samsung UN55D7000 55-Inch 1080p 240Hz 3D LED HDTV (Silver).I had a 2004 Sony 60" KDF-60X955 DLP TV. The TV was on last leg about one year ago when I started to see blue color at the lower right hand corner of the screen. I was looking at Samsung UN55-C8000 since last Xmas. I hestitated to buy it back then because of the hefty price tag. When UN55-D7000 first came out, I bought it from Amazon.com. I love the slim 0.5" frame and 1.2" depth of the TV. Next, I was looking at contrast ratio. I saw it somewhere that the TV has 16 MM: 1 contrast ratio. The D8000 has 25MM : 1. The sales guy from bestbuy said that Samsung dropped the contrast ratio specification this year because it is so high that they quoted the ratio as infinity. After 2 weeks of use, the HD picture quality is simply amazing - a million times better than my KDF-60X955 DLP TV. The SD picture quality is many times better than my old TV. I like this TV.

Samsung PN51D450 51-Inch 720p 600Hz Plasma HDTV (Black).I've had this set for almost 3 weeks, and I absolutely love it. The picture is amazing; I compared it to sets with 1080p, and I like the picture on this one better. The sound is also fantastic; loud, clear, and with several different settings for TV, movies, etc. Speaking of settings, the menus are easy to follow and allow you to set the picture just the way you like it. The remote is easy to use, and the only thing I don't like about it is that it has a slightly curved shape and tends to fall off the coffee table or sofa from time to time. Otherwise, I'm really happy. I did research for about a month and had a hard time deciding between this set and a Panasonic, but I'm glad I went with this one because it's fantastic. One other note---do not buy overpriced cables for this or any other set! I bought a $4 HDMI cable from Amazon and it works perfectly. Why pay $20, $30, or even $50 for an overpriced cable that doesn't work any better?

Samsung UN22D5000 22-Inch 1080p 60Hz LED HDTV (Black).I love it. Remodeled our kitchen and wanted a small TV to mount on a wall that would not become a focal point. It's a great HDTV. Super slim design barely protrudes from the wall. Very light weight. Excellent picture. It's great that they can cram 1080 pixels into only 22". And the overall TV design is very simple and clean. Well made.
I installed a power outlet behind it and ran the HDMI cable through the wall. The TV is so slim that it has very little space remaining to route the cables behind it. It has a channel molded into the back. Part of the problem was I did not use a standard wall mount kit - the TV is less than 2" thick, and I did not want to double that by using a standard wall mount bracket. Turned out great.

Ultimately, I ended up just going to the local BB and seeing which one looked and felt right to me. I purchased this beautiful 55in plasma and I couldn't be happier about it. I've had it for over two weeks now and I don't have a single complaint. The picture is great and the sound is just fine for my living space(apartment). The 2D-3D conversion is alright but you should not expect much from any television's conversion. .I just wanted a solid tv with great picture at an affordable price and this was it.The setup was beyond easy. The remote and on-screen menus are very user-friendly.The widgets all work just fine. Watching youtube videos on a 55in can be entertaining.

Sony BRAVIA KDL32EX720 32-Inch 1080p 3D LED HDTV, Black.I was looking for a 32 inch TV to fit in a cabinet I had made for the living room. Most TVs in this size are pretty basic and was looking for something a little more high tech. This model of Sony fit the bill perfectly. The styling of the TV is really nice with a glossy black bezel all around and without the funny grey band on the bottom of the lesser 32s Sony sells. The screen is more of a matte look and is great in eliminating glare from nearby windows. I purchased the set primarily for the Internet streaming and so far this works great.I have not tried the 3D feature yet so cannot comment on this. The picture is beautiful out of the box and required very little adjustment by me to make it perfect. The speakers, like most LED TVs are really bad and a sound bar or external speakers are a must. The TV satisfied most of the requirements I had and at a price that was quite reasonable.

I don't have the 3D glasses yet, so one major feature is still untested.A previous reviewer mentioned a problem pairing the keyboard side of the remote. I had the same problem, and chatted with a Samsung rep. He linked me to an instruction page that had the key piece of information that doesn't seem to be located anywhere else. You have to hold the remote VERY close to the TV when pairing. If I remember right, the instructions said within eight inches. I held the remote about four inches from the screen, and then it worked like a champ the first time.

I was concerned with having a high dollar item shipped, but after this experience I don't think I'll have it any other way. The freight company (Pilot) called to schedule a drop off on a given day in a three hour window. I got a call one half hour before they would arrive to prepare. The delivery personnel were professional, respectful, thorough, and all together great. I preferred this over buying at a retail store because I had the opportunity to have Pilot unpack the TV, place it where I chose, turn it on and inspect it, then accept shipment. If there had been a problem I could have refused shipment and another TV would have come a few days later. If I had bought this SAME TV at a BIG RETAIL STORE for SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS more, I would have had to bring home a box and hope I didn't have to repack and take it back. All together a great experience.

VIZIO E550VL 55-inch Full HD 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV.This is a good, low priced TV, no frills but a good basic big TV. The problems the other reviews talk about, with video lag and processing that takes away the film-look bothered me right away as well, and give the images a very weird effect. I thought maybe it was just me, or I wasn't used to a good quality picture, but whatever it was was not good. I really noticed it with fast motion sports, a football in the air was jittery and choppy. But there is a solution - on the second page of the TV Picture setting (select "more" at the bottom of the first Picture screen) there is a setting called Smooth Motion. Turn it off, and turn the Smooth Motion DEMO off. Problem solved, no more lag, jitters, and the film grain is back in the image.

Outstanding imagery and interface. Quickly get Netflix programs or movies, Facebook app is quick and you can slideshow your photo galleries. Pandora sounds perfect. We have one cable coming from this tv and that is to the electrical outlet, everything else is wireless. Setting up the Wifi was too easy and Vizio's interface is a cinch. I am very satisfied with the purchase. I did also purchase the 4-year extended service contract for when and if.
VIZIO E420VO 42-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV.My wife and I bought this TV at Walmart for $548. It is our first HDTV. We looked at a lot of them in various stores. I did a considerable amount of research and we finally decided on this one. Thought about a 120HZ model but didn't want to spend the extra money. It fits our budget and we are very satisfied with the quality and functionality. Don't have a blu-ray player yet but have watched standard DVDs with component video connection and picture quality is very very good. Streamed a Netflix movie or two in from our PC via HDMI cable and have viewed a considerable amount of satellite and over-the-air programming for the last month or so. Both standard def and HD picture quality, very nice. The volume leveling function is not perfect but it does help quite a bit. Sound with built-in speakers is good. Menus are user friendly and easy to navigate. Overall we are very pleased and would recommend this product to others.

LG 32LE5300 32-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LED LCD VA Panel HDTV, Black.Brighter colors. Deeper blacks. Greater energy efficiency. LED display technology is one of the latest advancements and the LE5300 offers it at a price that's in reach. Now it's easy to get into LED. VA panels (Vertically-Aligned)Offering energy-saving LED backlighting, 1080p Full HD resolution for crystal-clear detail, and TruMotion 120Hz technology for virtually no motion blur, the 32-inch LG 32LE5300 LED LCD HDTV is also great for watching sports and movies with fast action thanks to its 2.4ms (millisecond) response time. This is an excellent TV, especially for the price point - beautiful, sharp colors, great viewing angle, very thin LED design, and light weight as compared to traditional LCDs. While I would generally prefer a larger screen, the space I bought it for - Armoire in a bedroom, would only accommodate 32in. This is a perfect size for a bedroom or smaller living space. I compared this TV against a leading brand 32in LED at a local store and while this LED was slightly thicker and heavier, the colors on the screen were much brighter and facial features much more defined than the competition - and best of all its less expensive. The design is very modern - sharp lines, thin LED. It states Silver Grey in the description, but the bezel and stand are glossy black. I like it so well, I just ordered another one on Amazon.com!

LG 42LD520 42-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LCD HDTV.Over all I am very pleased with quality of this LG model and recommend it to anyone who wants to buy a LCD TV for under $1k, and I mean not for picture quality but the size of the screen since this had as good, if not better, picture quality as other more expensive models in the store. This TV has three HDMI connections in the back to use with your laptop or desktop plus an RGB (VGA Cable). There is also a USB 2.0 port in the back. I connected a USB thumb drive and was able to listen to music and display my digital pictures on the screen.

This RazorLED LCD HDTV also includes touch sensitive controls that light up when you tap the TV bezel. We have a 42" VIZIO 1080p (not a razor) in our family room and have been happy with it, so we dicided to get the 26" razor for our bedroom and couldn't be more pleased the picture is so clear alot more so than our 42" as well as the sound and the price was right... I would order this one again.

I haven't had any problems with it other than needing to tweak the default settings. There was a noticeable difference in picture quality between a VGA cable hookup from my computer and the HDMI cable hookup - the HDMI picture was noticeably better. Also it is a bit bulky compared with the think LED units but they are usually twice the price.Bottom line: great tv, no regrets.

It has a favorites menu & sleep timer, which are very important being that its my bedroom TV. Menu appears small & doesn't have too many features, other than surround sound mode & favorites menu. TV was purchased for the same price as a 19" LCD. So as long as it lasts a year or two I'm happy.

Viewsonic's VT3745 37IN Ws LCD HDtv 1080P 1920X1080 4000:1 VT3745 2XHDMI Svid. The overall picture of this monitor is far more accurate, clean, and viewable than any of the other monitors I looked at. The dynamic range is very wide, including the darker colors and grays and blacks, not quite up to my 52-in Samsung (Over $2,300!), but closer than any other comparable sized monitor.
Physically, I like the fact that the monitor can be tilted back for watching from higher positions. Also, the flat stand can be quickly removed for transporting in its original box, which I do often when I'm training.Great monitor. I would recommend it to anyone. I would, however, downgrade its rating by 1/2 point for not having a DVD player. But, that is not what it is! ViewSonic does sell an LCD HDTV/DVD Combo monitor, but it has a lower pixel rate designed more for 720i resolution, which is OK for most uses at this smaller size. But, having been a TV studio tech in charge of adjusting and maintaining studio monitors, I became too picky and always need(!) the best.

However, it was on sale for $180 as it was refurbished. I figured since they had fixed whatever was wrong with it, it should be fine. I have had the TV for about 2 months now. The picture quality is great, after all, it is high def...). I had no problem setting it up. It attaches to HDMi, DVD player, svideo, and also has outputs for the stereo. Also connects to my PC. I use a regular antenna for HDTV, and I couldn't be happier. I have no problems with the TV so far. As far as I can tell, it's a great deal.

I have owned several different brands and this one tops them all. No clouding, never had that problem with any of the 8 I have owned in last 8 years. Still have 4 of them. The reasaon I purchased this tv, the one before I purchased this one was a toshiba 47 inch that picture was great, but not as good as this 55 inch. It is replacing a samsung 52 inch that died. I can not say anything about 3D but have a player on order should have in today well find. Even if 3D it is not that great this is a keeper.

Sony BRAVIA KDL40HX800 40-Inch 1080p 240 Hz 3D-Ready LED HDTV, Black.I know this tv has a nice hefty price tag, but these days you pay for quality and this is top of the line in all aspects....splurge a little and pick up this tv and you won't be disapointed!!.I have had the set for a week or so. Everything I wanted! Worth the extra cash, for sure, though it is still cheaper than Samsung. I have it hooked up to AT&T U-Verse, which really delivers a nice picture and made a difference. (I hooked it up first to Comcast; not so good.) I've also mounted it with a fully articulating wall mount. Also: This set is quite easy to use. Have already accessed the internet features (using the direct ethernet port, not the wireless add-on) and will soon be hooking it up to a Sony sound bar. In short, highly recommended.
